At the same time, shooter Kapil Pandit, who was arrested in the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case, has made a new disclosure.

Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said on Sunday that Deepak Mundi, the sixth shooter involved in the Sidhu Musewala murder case, had planned to flee India to Dubai with the help of a fake passport. The DGP also said that Mundi's aide Kapil Pandit had reconnaissance of the actor at the behest of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to devise a strategy to kill Salman Khan.

Sidhu Musewala was shot dead on 29 May in Mansa district of Punjab. Kapil Pandit and Rajinder Joker, two of Deepak Mundi's aides, have been charged with providing weapons for the murder. A district court on Sunday sent Mundi, Pandit and Joker to six-day police remand.

DGP Gaurav Yadav said that, during interrogation of Kapil Pandit, it was revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi had approached Salman Khan through Sampat Nehra and Goldie Brar to target him. He did extensive Reiki with Sachin Bishnoi and Santosh Yadav and spent a lot of time in Mumbai. We will also confirm this aspect during the investigation.
