Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Brahmastra is earning a lot at the box office. The film has crossed the 100 crore mark in just three days. The film earned a whopping Rs 40 crore on Sunday. Now director Ayan Mukerji has written an emotional post for the audience. Ayan shared a video, in which some glimpses of the film are visible. It has been written in it, thank you from the heart for giving so much love to the film, Worldwide Brahmastra has collected a collection of 225 crores.

Sharing a post on Instagram, Ayan Mukerji wrote, "Brahmastra has got off to a great start with the audience in its first weekend! The feeling is only of gratitude and more gratitude - for our audiences!" He further added, "Acceptance from the audience - is the only reward working in films. The future of Brahmastra, and the Astraverse, is finally in the hands of our viewers, and this weekend we got back from them... LITE - for all of our hard work!"

Ayan further added, “I am proud that we have managed to create great energy in cinema halls in the last 3 days wherein people came out and sat together – to watch a very new kind of film for our cinema, which Takes technology to the next level, and it does so while upholding the spirit of Indian culture and spirituality." He concluded by giving some figures, "We were also the #1 movie at the global box-office this weekend... a matter of pride and excitement for us.

As per reports, Brahmastra earned Rs 41 to 42 crores at the box office on its first Sunday. On its first Saturday, it earned around Rs 37 crore. The film released on 9 September and was successful in earning decent in theatres. With this, the film's three-day total is Rs 110 crore. Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which is one of the biggest grossers of this year, earned around Rs 56 crore in the first weekend. Certainly Brahmastra broke many records this year. The film has also done well in Tamil and Telugu languages.
