Geraldine Bazan clarifies that Marjorie de Sousa was not the cause of her breakup with Soto
Geraldine Bazán was questioned by Mexican media about Julián Gil’s statements
Actress Geraldine Bazan made headlines again after speaking out about recent statements made by Julián Gil on the show 'Secretos de pareja', on Canela TV, where he suggested that Marjorie de Sousa had a relationship with Gabriel Soto, the ex-husband of Bazán.
During a meeting with the media, the actress categorically denied that Marjorie de Sousa was responsible for her divorce from Soto, as had been insinuated.
"The truth has been on my YouTube channel for seven years. Anyone who has doubts can go there; all my answers are there," she stated firmly.
Bazán emphasized that she is not looking to revive past controversies, but considers it important to clear up misunderstandings when it comes to false or malicious information.
"It's very easy to throw a lie into the air and have an avalanche of it," she added, emphasizing that statements like Gil's seem "the lowest of the low," especially when they come from people unrelated to the subject.
In his statements, Gil also claimed that the Venezuelan woman had an affair with Formula 1 driver Checo Pérez. The actor was contacted by Infobae and reiterated his version, stating that the two were neighbors and that he observed "several men" visiting her, including comedian Adrián Uribe.
Facing the risks of artificial intelligence
In addition to clarifying the rumors about her love life, Bazán addressed an alarming topic: the misuse of artificial intelligence.
The actress was the victim of a fake video announcing her supposed death, which she described as an irresponsible act. "I think it's super irresponsible (...) It's not fair," she said indignantly.
Geraldine was also questioned about other situations such as her estrangement from her mother and clarified that her motivation was to protect her peace and that of her daughters. "I love and respect her, but I chose my peace (...) I asked her in every way to stop making statements that affected me, and that didn't happen," she commented.
