Jennifer Lopez is happy being single. This is what the singer herself confessed, who this year made her divorce from Ben Affleck official after two years of marriage.

In statements to Access Hollywood, after her performance at the American Music Awards, JLo assured that at this moment she is not interested in looking for a partner.

“Girl, I’m not looking for any man. I’m happy now. I don’t want to ruin it, okay?”, responded the singer when asked if she was looking for a partner after her divorce.

JLo shared a fragment of the clip on her Instagram account and accompanied it with the iconic phrase from Céline Dion: “I do it for mah-self…”, she wrote.

On Monday of this week, JLo returned to the American Music Awards to make an impact. The singer was the presenter of this year's awards show and offered a surprising opening show.

What was JLo's show like at the AMAs?

Dressed in a futuristic suit with transparencies and sparkles all over her body that simulated electrical circuits and a helmet similar to an astronaut's, JLo appeared on stage alongside a large dance troupe that helped her put on a great show.

Unlike other shows, the 55-year-old artist did not sing. JLo surprised everyone by offering a show full of elaborate choreography and many acrobatics.

The actress also danced a medley of hit songs by artists such as Bruno Mars, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, among many others.

One of the moments of JLo's show that most surprised viewers was the round of kisses she gave some of her dancers.

This year, Jennifer Lopez returned as host of the American Music Awards for the second time, the first being in 2015.

The 51st edition of the awards that recognize the best of the American music industry was held on Monday at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
