The Pachuca Group is going for a millionaire hiring for Real Oviedo
Real Oviedo could spend a lot of money to sign Argentine defender Kevin Lomonaco. Independiente is asking for at least $20 million.

The Pachuca Group does not want Real Oviedo's adventure to be a brief one in Spain's first division. The team recently promoted to LaLiga would seek to sign Kevin Lomonaco, a central defender from Independiente.
It is already clear that the Pachuca Group's priority is Real Oviedo. The board didn't hesitate to leave the Pachuca Tuzos without their top scorer (Salomon Rondon) and bring him to Oviedo. Now the club is reportedly looking to strengthen its defense.
According to ESPN, Real Oviedo is reportedly interested in acquiring Kevin Lomonaco. The 23-year-old Argentine defender is a promising young player at their club, Independiente. In this regard, the South American team is reportedly asking for up to $20 million for his transfer.
"Independiente's management was firm and secured Lomónaco with a contract until December 2028 and set a buyout clause of $20 million," the report explains.
But this approach would not remain mere words. The report also explains that there have already been approaches between the player's representative and Real Oviedo officials to discuss Kevin Lomonaco's status.
If Real Oviedo fails to haggle the offer, Kevin Lomonaco would be, by far, the most expensive signing in the club's history. This award belongs to Fabio Pinto in the 98/99 season. The Brazilian joined the club from Internacional for $4.8 million.
A center back with projection
Kevin Lomónaco's youth makes his price quite high. The 23-year-old player is a promising player in Argentine football. At his young age, Lomonaco has already played for Lanús, Platense, RB Bragantino, Tigre, and now with Independiente.
The 1.92 meter tall Argentine center back can boast that he has already played 91 matches in the first division (7,197 minutes on the field). Lomonaco won the 2019 South American Championship with Argentina's U-19 team.
