Fatima Bosch receives a massive tribute in Tabasco and thanks Mexicans for their support

Almost a month after her coronation as Miss Universe 2025, Fatima Bosch returned to her homeland to be received as a heroine. Last weekend, the beauty queen led a massive parade in Villahermosa, Tabasco, where tens of thousands of people filled the streets to celebrate her historic victory. The scene was one of absolute jubilation. Children, adults, and the elderly held up signs with messages of affection and support for Bosch, who responded with evident emotion to the “unconditional love of her fellow Tabascans.” The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) captured the moment on its social media, describing it as “the realization of a dream” and “a celebration of love, unity, and gratitude.” Several moments of Fatima went viral, as the queen danced and led the parade for hours. Throughout the entire route, she appeared radiant and happy to share her triumph with the land of her birth.
A Deep Crisis at Miss Universe
However, the pageant has not been able to completely distance itself from the deep controversy surrounding the organization that crowns it. The Mexican woman's nascent reign is unfolding under the shadow of serious legal accusations against Raul Rocha Cantu, co-owner of MUO, who has been charged by the Attorney General's Office (FGR) with alleged illegal trafficking of weapons and fuel.
In this context of crisis, MUO announced in a statement the closure of Miss Universe Mexico's operations, citing "legal uncertainty, the current security situation, and unfounded and politically motivated attacks."
At the same time, the organization confirmed the relocation of its offices in Mexico, a decision it justified for the same reasons. Rocha Cantu, along with co-owner Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip—who is under investigation in Thailand for alleged financial fraud—remain out of the public eye.
Leaked information to the media indicates that the Mexican businessman has gone from being charged to cooperating witness for the Attorney General's Office, acknowledging her participation in fuel smuggling operations.
Faced with this turbulent scenario, Fatima Bosch opted for a stance that combines faith, gratitude, and an apparent distancing from the institutional crisis.
In an interview with Shanik Berman, the model smiled and ignored the allegations of rigging in her coronation, dedicating her triumph “to the women of Tabasco who dream of following in her footsteps.”
But, without a doubt, her most forceful statement was: “Thank you, girls, and long live Christ the King! Only Christ the King can cancel us!”
While the organization faces one of its biggest storms, Bosch began her reign activities focusing on the social and community side, including donating toys to children with cancer and HIV as part of Christmas activities.
