Florinda Meza accuses 'Chespirito's' first wife of theft
The actress who played 'Dona Florinda' claimed that Roberto Gomez Bolanos' ex-wife
The name of actress Florinda Meza is once again making headlines due to her most recent statements; However, this time the target of her accusations was Roberto Gomez Bolanos' first wife, Graciela Fernandez. In an interview with the Chilean press, the 76-year-old celebrity denounced that the "luxuries" enjoyed by 'Chespirito's' first wife are the result of the earnings of the Mexican actor who died in November 2014. According to Florinda Meza, Graciela Fernandez acquired four properties with the actor's earnings and misused the money obtained from their sale, a fact she described as her "modus operandi" for years. "They received, their mother, every time she wanted a new house, four new houses for their mother; she would sell the house and keep the money. What happened, I don't know," she explained to the Latin American press. "She would sell the house when she no longer liked it and keep the money," she said, before mentioning her suspicions about the fate of Gomez Bolanos' fortune. “He didn't use the money, what happened? I don't know. He never bought me a house,” she stated. On the contrary, the famous woman asserted that, contrary to what has been said about her, her interest in Roberto Gomez Bolanos was never motivated by his economic status or influence. “I always paid for my own house. After we had been living together for about 10 years, his brother said to him, 'Why aren't they contributing to your house expenses?' (…) We lived in that house, mine, for almost 10 years. It was a regular middle-class house,” she concluded.
