Rob Kardashian announces his return to the reality show The Kardashians
After almost a decade away from the cameras, the youngest Kardashian brother announced his return to the show
The eighth season of The Kardashians will have a historic member back on screen. Rob Kardashian, who stepped away from public life in 2016, announced during the season seven finale—aired this Thursday—his decision to return as a cast member. “I hope to be in season 8,” he said with a laugh in response to a producer's question, adding, “I definitely want to film.” His sister Khloe, 41, was the one who told him about the excitement his brief appearance in a teaser generated among fans, which Rob humorously downplayed. However, his commitment marks a significant shift. Since his retirement, Rob had prioritized his peace of mind and personal happiness, stepping away not because of family conflicts, but due to a deep discomfort with himself, as he explained on Khloe's podcast. “Filming and doing all that isn't for everyone,” he stated at the time, emphasizing that he would only return if he felt good and in a positive state. His participation in season 7 was limited, but his willingness to film more regularly rekindled expectations.
