The House of the Famous 6: Earth sabotages, also, the dynamics of positioning and sincerity
Javier and Jimena say that the House of the Famous 6”, have become synonymous with sabotage this season..
The inhabitants of the Earth room, of “The House of the Famous 6”, have become synonymous with sabotage this season. This week they've been sabotaging not only the rules imposed in "The Magna Carta," but also the budget challenge and the dynamics of positioning and honesty. They thwarted the budget challenge by pretending to want to participate without scoring points, only seeking to complete 50% of the budget, claiming that this amount is sufficient for all the housemates. Without consulting anyone! A large part of their audience is fascinated by these strategies and calls them content, while others simply can't stand the show anymore. They sabotaged the honesty and positioning challenge at the behest of Oriana Marzoli, who asked her housemates to be honest and position themselves only among themselves, sharing the positive reasons why they wanted them in the competition. Javier Poza and Jimena Gallego, the show's hosts, did not allow this behavior. Even so, they persisted with their strategy, and thanks to Julia Arguelles, they found a way to continue with the game plan.
The production doesn't protect "The Boss"; On the contrary, they subject her to ridicule…
Unfortunately, this is the production's fault. The sanction imposed on them this week for violating the rules was limited to taking away one point from the six they have available for nominations. Upon receiving the correction, participants like Julia Arguelles and Fabio Agostini mocked "The Boss" and the show's production team.
When the sanction is less severe than the offenses committed, not even a child will pay attention, because the punishment represents no threat.
Unfortunately, the way the production has handled the character of "The Boss" is deplorable. In Colombia, there is no "female boss"; there, a "male boss" is in charge. However, this character does have power and wields it within the competition.to such an extent that the participants know there's no way to escape a possible sanction with him. And furthermore, without fear of being wrong, he expels when necessary. Is it a matter of gender? Because he's a man, do they make him more severe, and because the Telemundo version is a woman, do they make her seem weak and nonexistent?
These questions arise both among the public and critics of the program, seeing that everything "The Boss" does and says has no effect. She doesn't generate changes, much less commands respect. She can't do anything; in the end, his role is dictated by the production; she's not a superior being with power over herself.
