The Rolling Stones announce new album release on July 10th
It's the UK band's first studio work since "Hackney Diamonds" in 2023
The Rolling Stones announced this Tuesday (05.05.2026) that their new studio album “Foreign Tongues” will be released next 10 July and that the new single In The Stars is now available online.
The British band formed in 1962 added in a brief statement that the new album is “rooted in blues, country and rock”.
It is their first studio work since “Hackney Diamonds” (2023), with which the group returned to recording activity after several years of silence and with which it was recognized with a Grammy.
One of the most popular bands in rock history
For the moment, The Rolling Stones has not detailed whether the new release will be accompanied by an international tour. Last Saturday, it revealed the title of this new album after several months of advances and enigmatic messages on social media.
The group is planned to present the release this Tuesday at an event in New York, where they're expected to provide new details about the album.
Formed in London in 1962, The Rolling Stones remain one of the most influential and successful bands in rock history, with anthems like (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, Paint It Black and Start Me Up, plus 14 number-one albums and eight singles at the top of the charts in the UK.
