On Sunday morning, the administration has started demolishing 70 houses in the area of ​​Nepali Nagar (Digha) under Rajiv Nagar police station of Patna. Due to this action of the administration, a tense situation has arisen on the spot. Angry people have taken to the streets. There have also been reports of some people pelting stones on the administration team. A large number of police forces are deployed on the spot. To disperse the people, the police resorted to lathi charge and firing in the air. An appeal is being made to the people to maintain peace.

According to the administration, all these houses have been built by illegally occupying the land of Bihar State Housing Board. To break these houses, the administration team arrived on Sunday with 14 bulldozers (JCBs) as soon as dawn broke. About two thousand police forces have been deployed to stop the commotion in the area. During the protest against this entire action, about seven people got burnt by the fire.

About a month ago, the administration had given notice to the concerned home owners to demolish all these houses and remove them. After this the affected people started the movement. Also, a request was made to the administration. They said that they pay tax to the Municipal Corporation for the house, get electricity connection and other facilities on this house. Then why and how will his house be demolished?

People protesting against demolishing the house in Rajiv Nagar created a ruckus. To handle the crowd, the police fired in the air. In Nepali Nagar too, the police dispersed the crowd by lathi-charge.
