In the investigation so far, the police has got information that a trainer Ranjan Dubey has played a key role in instigating the mob of youth in Muzaffarpur. Ranjan Dubey, inciting the youth, gathered a crowd in Bhagwanpur and then asked them to arson and vandalize there. Police is conducting raids to arrest him.

Here, the police of Sadar police station freed Subodh Dubey, father of Ranjan Dubey, who runs the Army Recruitment Training Center, from custody on Tuesday. His brother Rajesh Kumar filed a complaint in the CJM court saying that on June 19, Subodh was taken by the Sadar police for questioning. Since then there is no trace of him. Police can implicate him in a fake case. In this light, the court has summoned the Sadar SHO.

According to police officials, the youth had earlier blocked Chakkar Chowk, but Ranjan Dubey provoked them to create a ruckus. He instigated the protesters to arson on the railway or on the highway. After this, the miscreants ransacked from Chakkar Chowk and reached Bhagwanpur Chowk via Madipur.

The Sadar police station is taking action considering Ranjan Dubey as the main accused. Income tax action has also intensified with the police raiding coaching institutes in the case of instigating students against Agneepath.
