The plane crashed near Barmer at around 9:10 pm. Both pilots suffered fatal injuries. The tweet said that the Indian Air Force is deeply saddened by the loss of the pilots and it stands firmly with the bereaved families in this hour of mourning. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.
Rajnath Singh and Ashok Gehlot expressed their condolences
Earlier, Barmer Collector Lok Bandhu told that it was an Air Force plane, which crashed near Bhimda village of Baitu.
