Drones are continuously being sent to Punjab by Pakistani intelligence agency 'ISI'. Packets of weapons, cartridges and drugs are dropped through drones. Now this game has also started in the border areas of Rajasthan. BSF shot down a drone coming from Pakistan in Sriganganagar sector on Friday night. During the search, two bags were recovered from there, in which six packets of narcotics were found. The weight of these packets was about six kilograms. Most of the drones coming from Pakistan are modified in technology. This is done so that these drones escape from the eyes of BSF. The sound of some drones is turned off, while the signal light of other drones ie its blinker is removed. Many drones are made in China. By changing the operation and signal process of those drones in Pakistan, they are sent to the Indian border.
China-made drones are raised
Border Security Force officials say that a large number of drones are being sent by Pakistan to the Indian border for the last two years. Last year, about 250 drones had arrived in Punjab alone. Two dozen of these drones were shot down by the BSF. Now the activities of drones are increasing even on the border with Rajasthan. Many changes are being made in the system of China-made drones coming from Pakistan. To avoid BSF, the drone's sound and its light are switched off. Recently, when there was dense fog on the India-Pakistan border adjoining Punjab, dozens of drones had come. Due to the high height of the drone, low sound and blinker off, BSF has to fire several rounds to bring down the drone. At present, the height of the drone is increased to protect it from the fire of the soldiers. Although BSF does not spare him.
Heavy drone with 25000 MH battery
The drones that BSF has dropped in the border areas of Punjab have been up to six feet in length. Some drones have also been found in which 25 thousand MH battery was installed. Meaning, with the help of such a drone, 20-25 kg of goods can be delivered anywhere. The sound of the drones that used to come earlier could be heard clearly. Also that drone used to come at night or early morning. At that time the lights of the drone were visible. Due to this, there was no problem in targeting BSF. Now, due to the change in drones, BSF has to be alert every moment. Special teams have been deployed by BSF on all the border routes from where smugglers can come towards the border. The advantage of this is that if a drone which has not come in the sight of BSF, but has landed somewhere nearby, then in that case BSF teams can catch those smugglers along with the goods.
Surveillance is being done through 'CIBMS'
'CIBMS' is being used by BSF at some places for surveillance along the international border with Pakistan and Bangladesh. Approval will also be given soon for the purchase of vehicles equipped with anti-drone system 'ADS' to detect drones coming from Pakistan. With the help of this system, drones coming to the Indian border at night or during fog can also be detected. BSF has 21 'Long Range Reconnaissance and Observation System' (LOROS) made in Israel. Through this, a human can be detected from a distance of 12 kilometers in a day. Now a proposal has been prepared to buy 'Loros or HHTI' with a range of 20 km. The new equipment will be installed at such a height that there will be no chance for the smuggler to hide or to trick the security forces. 546 'HHTI' to BSF very soon (Uncooled) Long range version cameras will be available. Apart from this, 878 'HHTI' cameras are also to be purchased. Of these, the process of procuring 842 (uncooled) and 36 (cooled) cameras is underway.
