Bihar Municipal Elections will be held on December 18 and 28 only, Supreme Court and High Court clear the way

Hearing will be held on January 20 only

Talking on the media channel, petitioner Sunil Rai said that the Supreme Court today said that the hearing related to this matter will be held on January 20 only. Now it is for the Election Commission and the government to decide how to conduct the elections.

There is no hearing in Patna High Court yet

On the other hand, the next hearing regarding this matter in the Patna High Court will now be held on January 23. A division bench headed by Justice A Amanullah heard a petition on Thursday and made it clear that when the Supreme Court has fixed the date for January 20, the High Court will now hear it only after that date.
