Ranchi: Before the Election Commission, CM Hemant Soren will present his side through lawyers on the Office of Profit case on June 28. CM had gone to Delhi on Monday. Then came back to Ranchi late in the evening. On the complaint of BJP, the Election Commission will take a decision on the election matter of CM. The hearing on this matter has been postponed twice by the Election Commission of India on the request of the CM.
On June 14, the commission had clarified that the hearing cannot be postponed. Even before this, Hemant Soren was given time twice to present his case on behalf of the commission. The CM had sought more time to appear before the Delhi-based Election Commission, citing the lawyer being Corona positive.
Accepting the request on June 14, the commission gave 14 days' time. However, it has also been said on behalf of the commission that on the next date, they themselves or through lawyer, otherwise the decision will be taken on the basis of the written reply submitted by them.
