On the lines of metropolitan cities, the dream of becoming a happy street in the steel city Bokaro will also come true soon. Under the Global Active Partner City campaign, "Bokaro Happy Street" will be built by Bokaro Steel Plant. Gandhi Chowk Sector 4 to Bokaro Mall Sector 3 will become "Bokaro Happy Street". Its preparation is being finalized by the BSL management. It will be inaugurated on November 27. The road on the left going from Bokaro Mall towards Gandhi Chowk will become "Bokaro Happy Street".

The "Bokaro Happy Street" program is a part of the Global Active Partner City campaign. The purpose is to appeal to the residents of Bokaro to adopt a healthy lifestyle, for which BSL has already planned. 30 playgrounds are under construction in the city. Recently Yoga for Citizens program was also organized. In this episode, now the concept of Happy Street is being implemented in Bokaro. There is enthusiasm among the residents of Bokaro about this. Till now this system was limited to big cities.

Happy street means that that part of the road will be closed for traffic for a few hours so that people can walk, jog, or do any fitness related activity there. In many cities, programs are organized on the concept of Happy Street. It is not just a matter of one day, but BSL's plan to make the system of Happy Street available to the people on a regular basis. It will start on 27th November. In this, BSL will also take cooperation from the police-administration.

"Bokaro Happy Street" will be inaugurated on November 27. Gandhi Chowk to Bokaro Mall from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. All the people are being appealed to take part in it. Public schools are also being approached to get involved in this. Other organizations are also being invited to the city. There is also a plan to organize Bokaro Half Marathon in January as part of the Global Active Partner City campaign. Even before this, many types of programs have been organized by BSL.
