A horrific road accident took place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A speeding car crushed people who stopped to watch a road accident in the early hours of Thursday. According to media reports, nine people died in the accident. Whereas, many people are injured. Police and ambulance have taken charge on the spot.

According to media reports, a dumper rammed into an SUV on the ISKCON bridge on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar (SG) highway in Ahmedabad, after which the dumper driver fled from the spot. Due to the accident, there was a crowd on the spot.
Death of a police constable
During this, a high speed Jaguar car was coming from behind. Due to negligence, the car crushed the people standing there. Nine people died in the accident. The list of dead also includes a police constable and a home guard jawan. Around 13 people are injured there. According to local media, the dead included youths from Botad and Surendranagar.
