BJP released the list of 62 candidates on Wednesday
Earlier , in view of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, the BJP had released the first list of 62 candidates on Wednesday. The BJP has cut the tickets of 11 MLAs including a minister, while the seats of two ministers have been changed. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will once again contest from Siraj assembly constituency. Former Union Minister Sukh Ram's son Anil Sharma has been fielded by the BJP from Mandi. BJP's first list includes 19 new faces. Five women have also been given tickets in the list of candidates.
BJP leaders had told that within the next two days, the names of the candidates will be announced for the remaining six seats. After this, the list of six candidates has been released today. Let us tell you that there are 68 seats in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. In the state assembly, 17 seats are reserved for scheduled castes and three for scheduled tribes.
