A Vistara airline flight (UK-256) coming from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai created a ruckus when an Italian woman took off her clothes and started roaming around in the flight. On being stopped, the woman misbehaved with the crew members and also got into a scuffle. The woman was arrested on the complaint of the crew member as soon as the flight landed in Mumbai. 

Police officials say that the woman living in Italy has been identified as Paola Perucchio. She was drunk on the flight. He said, after completing the investigation, a charge sheet has been filed against the accused woman. A fine of Rs 25,000 has also been imposed on her, after which the woman has been granted bail. 

Police said, the Italian woman sat in the business class during the flight, while she had an economy class ticket. When the crew member asked her to go to her seat, the woman started abusing him. He punched a crew member and spit on one. After this the woman took off her clothes and started roaming here and there. 

Such behavior of the woman created an uproar in the flight. After this, on the instructions of the captain, the crew member caught the woman and dressed her. The woman was tied to a seat and was handed over to the police when the flight landed. In this matter, a statement has also been issued by Vistara Airlines. Vistara spokesperson said, the pilot made regular announcements regarding the safety of other passengers. However, on the refusal of the woman, the security agencies were informed to take immediate action when the flight landed. He said, as per the SOP, the information of the incident has been given to the concerned authorities. Vistara firmly adheres to a zero tolerance policy regarding the safety of its passengers and employees.
