Jharkhand Acid Attack: A madman threw acid on a girl in Chatra district of Jharkhand. A girl from Dhebo village of Daha Panchayat of Hunterganj block has been seriously injured. The incident happened on Thursday night. It is being told that the girl was sleeping in the house with her mother. During this, the young man entered the room and poured acid on the girl's face and body.

While saving the daughter, the mother also got acid. She also got injured. Hearing the screaming of mother and daughter, the younger brother sleeping outside the house reached there with another sister. Both of them also woke up the people of the village by making noise. Seeing the villagers gathering, the young man fled. The case is said to be of love affair.

The villagers took the mother and daughter to the community health center in seriously injured condition. Seeing the serious condition of both, they were referred to Gaya Medical College. The condition of the girl was critical. So he was referred from Gaya to Patna. Police reached there after getting information about the incident.

The victim's brother Pankaj Kumar and sister told the police that Deepak Bharti of Bela village had injured the sister and mother by pouring acid. The brother-sister told that six months ago, Deepak had lured Kajal away from the house. Kajal was released after a lot of pressure. Kajal stopped interacting with him.

This angered Deepak. He was constantly threatening to kill Kajal and her family members. Threatened to make photos and videos viral. When Kajal and her family members did not agree to this, they carried out the acid attack.

Police is conducting raids in the house and possible areas of the accused. The brother and sister of the victim are in panic due to the incident. Kajal's father Jatnu Yadav lives and works in Sirsa. Kajal lives at home with her mother and two younger siblings.
