Recently a new alliance of 26 parties has been formed India, the leaders of the India alliance met in Mallikarjun Kharge's room in the Parliament complex on Thursday to chalk out a strategy for the monsoon session and after that the opposition raised Manipur in both the Houses. Demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement on the violence.
Kharge said - PM did not go to Manipur even after 80 days of violence
Mallikarjun Kharge also gave an adjournment notice on the matter. He said that it has been almost 80 days since caste violence broke out in Manipur but Prime Minister Narendra Modi has neither visited the state nor spoken a word on the situation there. Along with this, Kharge also said on Twitter that Manipur is burning. Women are being raped, paraded naked and horrific violence is taking place. But the Prime Minister has been silent for so long.
Kharge also raised the issue of Manipur violence in the Rajya Sabha and demanded that the situation in Manipur be discussed along with Prime Minister Modi's statement on the matter. Also said that the Prime Minister has time to visit France, America. He has time to call 38 parties (NDA meeting) but he has no time to go to Manipur even though he has all the resources. The Modi government and the BJP have converted democracy and the rule of law into mobocracy by destroying the delicate social fabric of the state.

Kharge tweeted that PM Modi India will never forgive your silence. If your government has any sense or shame left then you should speak up about Manipur in Parliament and tell the country what happened without blaming others for your double incompetence. Opposition parties have been questioning the Prime Minister's silence on the situation in Manipur since caste violence broke out in the northeastern state on May 3.
PM Modi said - My heart is filled with pain and anger
Talking to the media before the commencement of the monsoon session, PM Modi said that his heart was filled with sorrow after seeing this horrific video. I want to assure the country that no guilty will be spared. Action will be taken as per the law. What happened to the daughters of Manipur can never be forgiven. As I stand in front of this temple of democracy, my heart is filled with pain and anger. Manipur incident is shameful for any civilized nation. The whole country is ashamed.
