The increasing figures of corona in the country is frightening. In the last 24 hours, 20,139 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in India. With this, the number of Covid 19 infected in India has increased to 4,36,89,989. At the same time 38 patients have lost their lives due to corona. After which the death toll in the country has increased to 5,25,557. While 6,482 patients have recovered from Corona and returned to their homes. This information has been given by the Union Health Ministry.
Earlier on Wednesday, 16,906 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the country. At the same time, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health, 45 patients had died due to corona. The ministry said on Thursday morning that the active cases of Covid-19 in the country have increased to 1,32,457. From yesterday till today, about 4 thousand more new cases have been reported.
Corona virus cases in Maharashtra: At the same time, 2575 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Maharashtra on Wednesday, 10 infected people died due to corona. With this, the total number of infected in the state has increased to 80,10,223, while the death toll has increased to 1,48,001. On Tuesday, 2435 cases were found in the state and 13 people died due to Covid.
Corona figures in Delhi: At the same time, 490 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the national capital Delhi in the last one day. While three patients have died due to corona. The Covid infection rate in Delhi has been recorded at 3.16 percent. After the arrival of new cases, the cases of infection in the national capital increased to 19,41,905, while the death toll rose to 26,288.
More than 300 cases of Covid-19 in Chhattisgarh: 386 new cases of corona virus infection have come in Chhattisgarh during the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of people affected by Covid-19 in the state has increased to 11,57,290 till Wednesday. Health department officials in the state said on Wednesday that during this period 11 people have been discharged from hospitals after becoming infection free, while 207 infected completed the period of home isolation. No death of any patient infected with corona virus was recorded in the state on Wednesday.
