After the violence during the procession, the incident of setting fire to a religious place has again come to light in Nuh, which remained calm for two days. As soon as the information was received, five fire tenders reached the spot and brought the fire under control. There was no loss of life in both the incidents that took place around 11:30 pm on Wednesday night. A total of 23 people were produced in the court yesterday in six different cases related to the violence and remanded to the police as per the incidents.

Nuh SP Varun Singla said that there has been some damage in the religious place located near Vijay Chowk and police station. As soon as the information was received, the police controlled the situation. The arsonists are being identified with the help of CCTV footage. Meanwhile, the fire of Nuh reached Panipat. Some people vandalized cars and raised religious slogans in Dhamija Colony here late on Thursday night.

On the other hand, the administration relaxed the curfew in Nuh for three hours on Thursday. Haryana's Additional Chief Secretary (Home) TVSN Prasad said that 176 people have been arrested so far in connection with the violence. So far 93 FIRs have been registered, including 46 in Nuh, 23 in Gurugram, three in Faridabad, three in Rewari and 18 in Palwal.

To improve the communal atmosphere, the Muslim community on Friday announced to offer Friday prayers from home in Gurugram. Mufti Saleem Qasmi, president of Jamiat Ulama, in a video message asked people to refrain from gathering for prayers in public places. On the other hand, Ulamas in Nuh assured that Namaz will not be offered at public places.

Ashok Kumar Panwar, a resident of the injured Sainik Colony, who returned from the Jalabhishek Yatra in Nuh, has not been able to recover from the shock even after three days. Hundreds of women and men from Faridabad attended the event and were stranded for hours. About 15-20 people with him stayed in a Shriram temple near Nuh under the shadow of death for six-seven hours. Ashok told that the miscreants were throwing stones from the vehicles as if hail was falling. In the area of about ten kilometers, the miscreants were armed with stones and weapons. Pawar told that the Nalhar Mahadev temple is very famous and he has been going to perform Jalabhishek for three years. Every time strict arrangements are made for police security, but this time it was not so. Five other people had come with him to participate in the Jalabhishek Yatra for the first time.

Ashok told that he had some cars and a bus with him. As soon as we moved ahead from Sohna, we saw that stones were kept at a distance of 500-500 meters. He told that it seemed that half the dumper stone would have been removed due to the breakdown of the vehicle, thinking that we did not pay attention. During this, about five-six bike riders chased the vehicles. They were making videos. People did not even pay attention to this and reached the temple on Monday at around 12 noon. The whole thing started to make sense after the violence happened.

Ashok told that after visiting the temple, around one o'clock they started returning back to Faridabad. A DG and 10-15 bikes were walking ahead with the vehicle and the bus was behind. After having darshan, they had walked about one kilometer from the temple when suddenly youths started throwing stones from both the sides. This caused panic in the team. The bike riders were able to escape immediately, but the car took a while to take a U-turn. During this, a stone fell on the car and broke the glass and hit his ear. It seemed that now life is not going to be saved. There was continuous stone pelting from both the sides. It seemed as if hail was falling. Wherever he got a chance, he started running away with the vehicle.

Ashok and others started running away with the vehicle. The miscreants followed them. After going about one or two kilometers, 10-15 youths were found. He said that there is danger ahead and we are Hindus. At first they could not believe it. However, after talking to him, reached Shriram temple in the village and kept waiting till 9 pm for the police to come. During this, about 15-20 people remained under the shadow of death for six-seven hours. Meanwhile, the miscreants attacked the village as well. The youths of the village chased them away. The accused had come to rob a shop. On the other hand, hundreds of people remained trapped in the Nalhad temple. People kept on knowing each other's condition through mobile. Others told that even after three days people have not recovered from this fear.

DCP NIT Narendra Kadyan took out a foot march in NIT area on Thursday along with paramilitary forces. During this, he gave a message to the people to maintain peace and increase the spirit of brotherhood. DCP met people in the market and also interacted with the shopkeepers.The purpose of the foot march was to promote the feeling of brotherhood in the society by establishing coordination between the police and the public. Along with this, the fear of the police will be created in the minds of the criminal type of people. During the march, the DCP stressed upon the people to maintain peace and promote the spirit of brotherhood. He said that people in the society can help in maintaining peace and order in the city by cooperating with the police. Immediately give any kind of information related to the police on 112 so that the police can take timely action.

After the Nuh episode, Friday prayers will be offered in the mosques of the city. In such a situation, the police is fully alert and by patrolling continuously, anti-social elements are being monitored. Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora has instructed all DCPs, ACPs, police station and outpost in-charges to keep vigil by imposing special duties outside religious places.

On the other hand, a special community meeting was organized on Thursday. In this, it was decided to offer Namaz in limited numbers. Maulvi Jamaluddin of the religious place located in Uncha village of Ballabhgarh appealed to the people of the society that people coming from far off places should offer Namaz in their nearby mosques only. Pray for brotherhood in the society, stay away from violence. Cooperate with the police and administration.

Police spokesman Sube Singh said that people need to be more careful about their safety as section 144 is applicable in the city in view of the recent incidents. Anti-social elements are being monitored. The Commissioner of Police said that some miscreants try to spoil the atmosphere of the society but the police is fully capable of cracking down on the miscreants. Instructions have been given to the in-charge of all the police stations that police patrolling should be done continuously at the religious places located in their area and strict monitoring should be kept on the people who carry out any kind of incident.
