The Patna High Court has summoned the MD of the Housing Board and the state government till Wednesday, with immediate effect, banning the action of the district administration on the demolition of the house built on the land of the Housing Board in Nepali Nagar Mohalla of Rajiv Nagar area. The Single Bench of Justice Sandeep Kumar gave this order after hearing senior advocate Basant Kumar Choudhary on the petition filed by Rajendra Kumar Singh and others.

The Patna High Court court expressed surprise over the demolition of the houses of the people living here by building houses for years. On behalf of the petitioner, the court was told that the state government and the housing board had demolished hundreds of houses illegally. No action has been taken by the Housing Board and the Government under the Digha Land Settlement Act Cut. Whereas this act has been made for this matter only. This act of the government and housing board is illegal. The matter will be heard again on Wednesday.

CPI-ML State Secretary Kunal has termed the action of bulldozing the houses of common people in Nepalese Nagar of Rajiv Nagar as cruel and inhuman. He said that the government has been collecting taxes from the local people for a long time, all the schemes of the government have been implemented. At the same time, the local MLAs have been assuring the security of their house, then why are their houses being demolished today. If their papers were wrong, then why did the government keep implementing its schemes there knowing it.

Instead of bulldozing, the government should have adopted some other way, so that such an unpleasant situation does not arise. On Monday, a four-member team led by ML MLAs visited Rajivnagar. In which deputy leader of the legislature party Satyadev Ram, Paliganj MLA Sandeep Saurabh, member of the party's central committee and state secretary of Aipwa Shashi Yadav and state committee member Jitendra Kumar visited Rajiv Nagar today and took stock of the situation.
