Meanwhile, a statement of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale has come out, which people are discussing. In fact, Hosbale on Sunday expressed concern over unemployment and rising inequality in income in the country and said that poverty is emerging as a monster-like challenge before the country.

After this statement of Dattatreya Hosabale, people started discussing various things. However, the general secretary of the RSS further said that this is a challenge to which several steps have been taken in the last few years to deal with it. Hosbale said the above things in a webinar organized by Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) affiliated to the Sangh.

Dattatreya Hosbale said that we should feel sad that 200 million people are below poverty line while 23 crore people are earning less than Rs 375 per day. Poverty is facing us as a monster-like challenge. He said that it is important that this demon be put to an end.

RSS leader Dattatreya Hosabale further said that apart from poverty, inequality and unemployment are two challenges that need to be tackled. He said that there are four crore unemployed in the country, out of which 2.2 crore are unemployed in rural areas and 1.8 crore in urban areas. The labor force survey has put the unemployment rate at 7.6 percent. We not only need pan-India schemes to generate employment, but also need to focus on local schemes.

In the program, Hosabale also suggested to take more initiatives in skill development sector to revive cottage industries and increase their penetration in rural areas. On the context of income inequality, Hosabale questioned whether it is a good thing that despite being among the top six economies, half of the country's population gets only 13 percent of the total income.
