There is good news for tourists. On November 19, all the monuments including Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri will be able to enter free of cost. On the launch of World Heritage Week on November 19, the Archaeological Survey of India has provided free entry to all the monuments in the country. Orders have also been issued for this. Please tell that November 19 is a Saturday. Due to the weekend, there is a huge crowd of tourists on this day. 

For the first time only entry to the Taj Mahal will be free, but step ticketing will continue. That is, the entry fee of Rs 50 will not have to be purchased on November 19, but an additional ticket of Rs 200 will have to be purchased to visit the main dome and see the tomb of Shahjahan Mumtaz. From 2016, additional tickets placed on the dome of the Taj were kept free on World Heritage Week or any other free arrangement day. 

Superintending Archaeologist Rajkumar Patel said that the Taj Mahal will be free to enter during World Heritage Week, but the Rs 200 charge for visiting the tomb of Shah Jahan Mumtaz on the main dome will remain the same. This step has been taken this time for crowd control. Being free, a large number of tourists reach the main dome, which is mandatory to control. 

The World Heritage Week will start on 19th November which will be held in various monuments till 25th November. ASI will organize a program on World Heritage Week on November 19 at the Diwan-e-Aam complex of Agra Fort. The closing ceremony will be held in the Panch Mahal complex of Fatehpur Sikri. There will be cleanliness drives, drawing and painting competitions and quiz programs throughout the week.
