Hyderabad Police on Sunday arrested three suspected terrorists who were allegedly planning to carry out fidayeen attacks in the city at the behest of Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI. The police have seized four grenades, ₹ 5 41,800 in cash and a motorcycle from all of them. Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand gave this information. 

All the arrested persons, who were trying to carry out the terror attack, have been identified as Abdul Zahid (40) of Moosarambagh, Mohammad Samiuddin (39) of Saeedabad and Maz Hasan Farooq (29) of Humayun Nagar. The accused had conspired to carry out terrorist acts including blasts and lone wolf attacks.  

he said, adding that Zahid had received a consignment of four grenades and was on his way to carry out terror attacks in Hyderabad. On specific information, raids were conducted and three people were arrested in Malakpet, the commissioner said. According to preliminary information gathered by the police, Zahid was earlier involved in several terrorism-related cases in Hyderabad, including the 2005 suicide attack on the Hyderabad City Police Commissioner's task force office Begumpet.

The three suspected terrorists were in regular contact with three ISI-LeT bosses Farhatullah Ghori alias FG, Siddiqui bin Usman alias Rafiq alias Abu Hamzala and Abdul Majeed alias Chhotu. These three ISI handlers, all natives of Hyderabad and wanted in many cases, have now settled in Pakistan and are working under the aegis of ISI.
