So far 52 people arrested in Kanpur violence case
In fact, since the violence in Kanpur on June 3, the police is taking strict action. Violence erupted in the city over the closure of shops by a community after Friday prayers. This violence took place during the protest against the controversial statement of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, due to which the miscreants pelted stones fiercely. At the same time, in this violence case, the police have arrested a total of 52 people so far. Apart from this, about 10 more suspects have been taken into custody for questioning.
Hearing on remand of Kanpur violence mastermind today
Hearing on the remand of the accused of ruckus and violence in Kanpur was held on 9 June. The court will deliver its verdict after re-argumentation on the remand of Hayat and his associates today, June 10. The court has again summoned the four accused today. The mastermind of the violence, Hayat Zafar Hashmi and his accomplices Javed, Sahil and Sufiyan were applied by the police to take them in remand. Ten days police custody remand was sought.
