Underground station will be built first on Corridor-2 of Patna Metro, then route line, will build

After the elevated on the Priority Corridor (Corridor-2) of Patna Metro, now the work on the underground route has also started rapidly. More than half the pillars have already been prepared at ISBT with its elevated route Malahi Pakari. Now its underground route from Patna Junction to Fraser Road, Gandhi Maidan, Ashok Rajpath via siege on Rajendra Nagar has also been accelerated.

Underground station construction begins

The stations will be constructed first on the underground route. For this, excavation is going on near All India Radio, Gandhi Maidan, Vishwavidyalaya and Moinul Haque Stadium. After the completion of technical work, the construction of underground station will start here. Soil investigation work has already been completed here.

Underground station will be built with about two thousand crore rupees

The stations on the elevated route of Corridor-2 will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 528 crore. At the same time, a plan has been made to spend about two thousand crore rupees on the construction of stations on the underground route. Of the 12 stations to be built on this route, seven stations are Patna Junction, All India Radio, Gandhi Maidan, PMCH, Vishwavidyalaya, Moinul Haque Stadium and Rajendra Nagar Underground, while five stations are Malahi Pakari, Khemnichak, Bhoothnath, Zero Mile and New ISBT Elevated. The process of route line construction will start only after the construction of the underground station is completed.

Elevated work started on Corridor-1

The work of elevated routes and stations has also started at Patna Junction from Corridor-1 of Patna Metro Saguna Mor. Of the 14 stations on this route, the first four stations from Danapur to Patliputra and the last four from Mithapur to Khemnichak will be elevated. For this, work is going on in Saguna bend and RPS turn as well as in Mithapur, Ramakrishna Nagar and Jaganpura after soil testing, for the casting of pillars. The middle six stations on Corridor-1 will remain underground, including Rukanpur, Rajabazar, Patna Zoo, Vikas Bhawan, Vidyut Bhawan and Patna Junction.
