For the first time in the winter session of Parliament starting from December 7, Sonia and Rahul Gandhi will not have an active role in the day-to-day functioning of the Congress House and coordination with the opposition. Rahul Gandhi will not be involved in the floor management of the party as he is busy with Bharat Jodo Yatra. 

According to Congress sources, this time the new strategy and strategy of the Congress will be seen in the winter session. New Congress President and Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary will be responsible for strategic communication with opposition parties regarding the proceedings of the House. According to a senior party leader, Sonia Gandhi will continue to be the leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party, but she will not interfere in the day-to-day functioning of the party in the House. 

The winter session of Parliament will start from December 7. It will end on 29 December. There will be 17 sittings in this session. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have issued separate notifications. During this, the details of important dates have also been released.

Apart from Rahul, Jairam Ramesh and Digvijay will also be absent Along with Rahul Gandhi, Congress's chief whip in Rajya Sabha Jairam Ramesh and senior leader Digvijay Singh will also not be present in the House for most of the winter session. Both the leaders are an important part of the visit. That's why Congress will need other leaders for floor management and coordination with other opposition parties in the session starting next month. 

Rajeev Shukla will play a key role Rajeev Shukla, who has been elected as the new leader of the Congress in the Rajya Sabha, will play a key behind-the-scenes role along with Kharge in the upcoming winter session. Since Shukla has good relations with all parties, he will be of great help to Kharge.
