EVMs and VVPATs Thrown Away in Kultai During Lok Sabha Elections

Sharing a 19-second video, the news agency wrote that in Kultai of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, the mob allegedly threw the EVM and VVPAT machines of booth numbers 40 and 42 into the water. This video has been described as a third-party video.

In the video, EVM and VVPAT machines can be seen submerged in water in a pond on the roadside. However, it has not been officially confirmed yet whether the EVMs and VVPATs belong to these two booths.

Women Accused of Throwing Machines

The voice of the person making the video is also heard. It is said in it that the women have thrown away the EVM and VVPAT machines. He says that the women threw away the machines because their husbands and sons were booth agents. When they were beaten up, the women threw away the machines.

However, it is not known which party's people threw the machines in the water. The person who made the video is saying that the women threw the machines because their husbands and sons, who were booth agents, were not allowed to sit. They were beaten up.
