Trump says all political prisoners in Venezuela will be released
The Republican leader also highlighted that "Venezuela is now earning more money than it has earned in the last 25 years"
The American President Donald Trump declared this Tuesday that all Venezuelan political prisoners will be released. “Let's get them all” out of prisons, he declared to the press before undertaking a trip to China.
The Delcy Rodríguez regime ensures that the recent amnesty law has benefitted more than 8,000 people, a figure questioned by relatives and human rights defense organizations.
“The people of Venezuela are delighted with what happened. They can't even believe it. They're dancing in the streets,” Trump stated.

The leader of the White House raised this Monday in an interview the idea of Venezuela becoming the 51st state of the United States, a suggestion that awakens irritation in the Chavista regime, willing to hold on to power.
“We have Exxon, we have Chevron, we have all the big companies (oil companies) in the country, and Venezuela is now making more money than it has made in the last 25 years,” he said.
The arrest of Nicolás Maduro led a cascade of political and economic changes in Venezuela, under Washington's instructions. In addition, the Trump government established a pl an three phases (stabilization, reconstruction and transition) to normalize the general situation in Venezuela and the State Department ensures that the first phase is over.
