Honduran Kervin Arriaga will play in the first division of Spain next season
The Honduran national team midfielder was announced as a reinforcement for the recently promoted Levante
Levante and Partizan Belgrade agreed this Wednesday the transfer of Honduran midfielder Kervin Arriaga, who signs with the Valencian team until June 2028.
Arriaga, currently training with his country's national team, with which he reached the semi-finals of the Copa A CONCACAF (North, Central America and Caribbean Confederation) gold medalist, he becomes Levante's first signing for their return to the First Division in the 2025-2026 season.
The 27-year-old midfielder trained at Platense in Honduras and later joined Marathon. In 2022, he joined Minnesota FC in the MLS and, two seasons later, joined Partizan Belgrade.
This January, Kervin Arriaga had his first taste of Spanish competition, albeit in the second division, when he joined Real Zaragoza on loan. He has played 17 matches with the Zaragoza team and scored one goal.
The player has been an international cap since 2020 and is currently with the Honduran team for the Gold Cup, a tournament in which Honduras will face Mexico in the penultimate round of the competition.
Starting in the 2025-26 season, he will play in the top flight of Spanish football with the newly promoted Levante.
