Former Team India star Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Sunday launched a 'Made in India camera drone' named 'Droni' with advanced features manufactured by Garuda Aerospace. According to the news agency ANI, the company has entered the consumer drone market with 'Droni'. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the brand ambassador of Garuda Aerospace. The company has endeavored to offer drone solutions for pesticide spraying, solar panel cleaning, industrial pipeline inspection, mapping, surveying etc. in agriculture.

MS Dhoni launched the new 'Kisan Drone' at an event held in Chennai. Its purpose is to spray applications in the agricultural sector, especially. According to the report of ANI, this battery-operated drone can spray agricultural pesticide on 30 acres of land per day. Speaking at the event, Dhoni recalled that he took a keen interest in agriculture during the Corona lockdown. He also emphasized on the role of drones for the farmers.
