Rayados de Monterrey feels the pressure of losing Nelson Deossa

Since arriving in Liga MX, Nelson Deossa has demonstrated his capabilities. The Colombian footballer recently made the jump to Rayados de Monterrey, the club where he has reached his maximum value so far.
Nelson Deossa played in all four matches that Rayados de Monterrey played in the 2025 Club World Cup. This was a great showcase that the Colombian knew how to take advantage of during his 302 minutes on the field, in which he provided defensive solidity and collaborated in attack with a goal.
After his participation in this tournament, journalist Pipe Sierra reported that the Colombian midfielder had been followed by European soccer scouts. One of the names that came up in other media was that of Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany.
“In Atlanta, several scouts were present who are analyzing Nelson Deossa (25). The Colombian has sparked the interest of several teams; some European,” said the journalist.
Deossa in Monterrey
In January 2025, Nelson Deossa signed with Rayados de Monterrey from Tuzos del Pachuca. In six months, the Colombian earned a starring position in one of the most expensive clubs in all of Concacaf football.
Nelson Deossa has played 29 games with the Monterrey team in which he has scored 7 goals and provided 1 assist (2,090 minutes on the field). The 25-year-old footballer is valued at just over $6.5 million and has a contract with Rayados de Monterrey until December 2028.
