In an interview with ESPN, Joshua believes that Paul will only last one or two rounds because his intention whenever he steps into the ring is to hurt his opponent his opponent.
“I don't know how to be lenient with an opponent. I just can't do it. In this fight, I know I'm going to box and hurt. It has nothing to do with a contract; it's just my state of mind. Contractually, there's nothing that says what I can or can't do,” he said.
“My state of mind is to go in, box, outbox, overpower, and hurt my opponent, whoever he is. There's no chance this fight will go the distance. It might last one round, but he won't see the final bell,” he concluded.
