Striker German Berterame, Inter Miami's newest signing, expressed his enthusiasm for joining the Major League Soccer club, highlighting both the sporting project and the opportunity to share a locker room with Lionel Messi.

Berterame will occupy a Designated Player slot and signed a contract with Inter Miami until the 2028-29 season, with an option to extend the agreement until the 2029-30 season.
First minutes and good feelings in Medellin
With the aim of quickly integrating into the group, German Berterame traveled to Medellin to join the preseason of the team managed by Javier Mascherano.
“I was really looking forward to being with the group and starting to get to know my teammates and the staff. That's why I made this trip to Medellin (for Inter Miami's preseason). I wanted to join as soon as possible and start feeling like part of the team,” he stated.
The striker was on the bench and had his first minutes in the friendly against Atletico Nacional, entering in the 60th minute wearing number 19, after Luis Suarez left the field, having scored the equalizer five minutes earlier.
Berterame close to his first assist with Inter Miami
