Karol G plays a funny joke on Becky G in a dynamic with “Elle”
The Colombian singer made an unexpected call to her colleague, who ended up being the butt of a joke that quickly went viral on social networks.
The singer Karol G conquered social networks with the launch of her new cover with Elle USA magazine, not only because of the brand new photo session she starred in, but because of the fun dynamic in which she participated as part of their collaboration.
And the so-called “Bichota” joined the “Phoning It In” segment, in which the artists invited by the magazine make a prank call to one of their most famous contacts.
For the occasion, Karolg G chose the Mexican-American Becky G as his "victim", with whom he maintains a great friendship: "I am a great joker. I always make jokes with my team. They suffer a lot," he acknowledged prior to the fun interaction.
This is how the interpreter of “TUSA” and “My ex was right” took her phone and called her colleague to play a prank in which she pretended to be in front of the door of her house, worried about her friend's condition after an alleged warning by a person in common.
"Mommy, are you okay?... I'm literally here. I got to where they told me I had to get to see you. I'm worried about you. Are you okay?" the Colombian questions in a worried voice.
Confused, Becky G responds: “Wait, what?” However, Karol did not give up and continued saying: “Well, I don't know, they came for me and told me that you needed me urgently, that something happened to you and I left everything and I'm here (…) I'm kind of a little scared because they called me super stressed… No, don't lie to me because she called me super stressed.”
"I'm a little confused. I'm in LA," explained the "Sin Pijama" interpreter in response to her friend's concern.
"Give me a sign so I know if you're okay. Don't tell me if you're okay or not. Give me a sign. Snap your fingers so I know you're okay," Karol G pressed.
It was then that Becky G ended up discovering the truth behind the call: "Wait, this is a joke. This has to be a joke," which caused the Colombian to laugh.
It is worth mentioning that this was not the only joke that Karol G made during the segment. His next target was his best friend, Daiky Gamboa, whom he made believe that he had canceled his world tour to participate in the reality show “Love Island.”
