FC Barcelona expressed its support for all the people affected by the double earthquake in Venezuela that has hit the country in recent hours and has left hundreds of victims, in addition to significant material damage.

Through a statement issued this Thursday, the Catalan entity expressed its solidarity with the Venezuelan people and sent a message of support in the midst of the emergency caused by the seismic movements.

FC Barcelona's message for the victims in Venezuela

Through an official statement, FC Barcelona showed its support for “all the victims and people affected” by the double earthquake registered in Venezuela.

From the Barcelona club they indicated that they wish to accompany the Venezuelan people in this difficult moment and transmit a message of solidarity in the face of the tragedy that has shocked the South American country.

The number of victims increases after the earthquake in Venezuela

As reported this Thursday by the president in charge of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, the provisional balance of the tragedy amounts to 164 dead and 971 injured.

The authorities have also confirmed that at least 30 aftershocks have been recorded since the two strong earthquakes occurred, which maintains concern among the population and emergency teams.
