With 11 days until Mexico debuts against South Africa in the 2026 World Cup, Tricolor coach Javier Aguirre highlighted the packaging and willingness of the national team to try to achieve success in the World Cup from the fact that they have been growing under their soccer idea.

For this reason, when asked about what remains to be refined in the national team, the national coach highlighted that: "These are what these games are for, to see players, where it was the closest thing to the last week of preparation. We needed to see the players, give play to the majority and the objective was partially achieved."

Aguirre took advantage of the moment to analyze his work to reach the 26 World Cup players who will defend the national jersey to the death and will finally try to have some success in the history of the World Cups.

He also added that: "We gradually grew after 26 or 28 games; the results are what people expect, beyond the fact that many people want to see their teams' players, their stars, but with all that, we have tried to be as fair as possible."

He also said that: "We have been an organized team, with a great attitude and that is what people expect and believe. I have been in football for many years and people do not like indolence or passivity, because we can lose because the rival was better, but if they see that you break your heart for your shield, for your country, for your shirt, they make you see it with just reason."

He highlighted that: "In addition to the good conduct of the players, well behaved with the press, with the fans, because I believe that there has not been a single act of indiscipline in all these games. That is complicated, especially because of the coexistence in a group, because of the trips, because of the official competitions and everyone has fully complied"

Finally, he pointed out that he expects a World Cup with a lot of attitude and good dividends due to the way his speech has permeated within the group. That's why I see that the players already want the World Cup to start, because of the way they feel supported and confident about competing."
