Max Verstappen from Formula One to put on America
Max Verstappen, driver for the Red Bull Formula One team, was visited by the America players and wore the Aguilas shirt
Max Verstappen, famous Dutch driver and multiple Formula One champion, had a moment of leisure during rehearsals for the Mexican Grand Prix, to spend time with Israel Reyes, Brian Rodriguez and Alan Cervantes, players of America and wear the Aguilas jersey.
The three players from the controversial Coapa team returned from Mazatlan, where they tied 2-2 with the Canoneros on matchday 15 of the 2025 Apertura tournament to spend time with Red Bull team drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Max Verstappen.
The Mexican players of the Aguilas, Israel Reyes and Alan Cervantes, as well as the Uruguayan Brian “Rayito” Rodriguez, met at the facilities of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit inside the Magdalena Mixhiuca facilities with several special gifts for the intrepid drivers of the Big Top, with whom they spent a few minutes chatting and spending time together.

The three America players were interviewed by the media upon leaving the Red Bull Racing hospitality area and, between seriousness and joking, gave references to their time with the prestigious professional driver born in the Netherlands.
Brian Rodriguez commented that Verstappen congratulated him for the great goal he scored last night against Mazatlan and that Max declared himself a follower of the America colors, while Israel Reyes stated that: “”We were able to talk with him a little, chew on a little of English that is half dry”, bursting out laughing, but happy to have spent time with one of the great figures of world motorsport.
Meanwhile, Max Verstappen will try to fight for his sixth victory in the Mexican Grand Prix, in order to stay close to the fight for the Formula 1 Drivers' Championship, which is predicted to be a reserved prognosis between the McLaren drivers, Oscar Piastri - leader of the current competition, as well as Lando Norris.
