Searching mothers from Jalisco find 28 bags with human remains

The collective Mothers Seekers of Jalisco reported the finding of 28 bags with human remains and bones in an area known as Las Pintitas, about six kilometers from Guadalajara International Airport.
The discovery occurred after an anonymous complaint that alerted about possible clandestine burial points in a difficult access property.
Members of the collective went to the site and began search work with manual tools, where they confirmed the presence of human remains in an advanced state of decomposition.
Through social networks, the seeking mothers spread a message in which they contrasted the international attention that Guadalajara receives on the way to the 2026 World Cup with the crisis of disappearances that Jalisco faces.
“While the world looks towards the Guadalajara Airport for the World Cup, only 6 km away, in Las Pintitas, pain springs up from the earth: 28 bags with human remains and bones,” they noted.
The activist Ceci Flores, founder of the collective Mothers Seekers of Sonora, supported the complaint and asked not to leave the families alone those who look for their disappeared in Jalisco. “The despair of the mothers of Jalisco is a wound shared by all,” he expressed.
The finding occurs in the amid of a growing concern over the location of clandestine graves in the entity. Search groups have noticed It is clear that areas close to the airport and the Akron stadium, home of the 2026 World Cup, accumulate hundreds of human remains found in recent years.
So far, state authorities have not reported the estimated number of victims nor advances on possible identifications of the located remains.
