Home runs have been a trademark for Shohei Ohtani in the Playoffs. The Japanese player became the first player to reach three games with multiple home runs (2 home runs in Game 1 of the Wild Card Series vs. Cincinnati Reds; 3 home runs in Game 4 of the Championship Series vs. Milwaukee Brewers and 2 home runs in Game 3 of the World Series vs. Toronto Blue Jays).
Shohei Ohtani also reached a postseason home run record for the Dodgers. “Showtime” tied Corey Seager’s mark in 2020 (8). Ohtani hit 2 home runs against the Reds, 3 home runs against the Brewers and so far has hit 3 home runs against the Blue Jays. The all-time record is held by Randy Arozarena with 10.
