The third major concept presented was the Yoga Solar PC Concept, an ultralight computer that incorporates solar panels directly into the lid. At just 15 mm thick and weighing just over a kilo, this laptop seeks to redefine the meaning of true mobility.

The key is that the solar panels are 24% efficient, and an intelligent orientation system allows it to capture energy even indoors or in indirect light. According to Lenovo data, with just 20 minutes of sunlight exposure, the device can gain a full hour of battery life for video playback.

This doesn't just mean less dependence on chargers and outlets. It's a clear commitment to sustainable technology, with a vision for the future for those who work outdoors, travel frequently, or live in areas with limited electrical infrastructure. It is, without a doubt, the first step towards more environmentally friendly devices without sacrificing performance.

Although none of these computers are commercially available yet except for the Think Book Plus Gen 6, which will arrive in the United States with a base price of $3,499 Lenovo has made its vision clear: innovation is not a luxury, it is a necessity.
