Samsung already has a date for its new Unpacked: here we tell you how to follow it minute by minute
The company confirmed the date, venue and motto of the event, and here we explain how to watch it step by step.
If you are a fan of foldables and you like to be aware of each Samsung launch, you can now take out the calendar because the next Galaxy Unpacked will be held on July 22, 2026 in London.
The South Korean confirmed the appointment through an official invitation under the motto “A New Shape Unfolds” (A new shape is about to be revealed), a phrase that already suggests where this new generation of devices is heading. According to Samsung's statement, this edition seeks to combine intelligent capabilities with innovative formats to offer more personal and adaptive experiences, setting a new standard for the AI era.
This will be the second Unpacked of the year for the company, and as usually happens every time one of these events approaches, the expectation among the tech community does not stop growing. London was chosen as the headquarters because, in the company's own words, it is a city that advances by setting trends instead of following them, something that connects perfectly with the spirit of innovation that Samsung wants to convey this year.
How to watch the event live without missing anything
The good news is that you don't need to be physically in London to enjoy the event, because the broadcast will be completely free and live through several official channels. You can follow it from Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and the brand's YouTube channel starting at 2:00 p.m. UK time, which is equivalent to 9:00 a.m. Eastern time in the United States and 3:00 p.m. in Central European time.
If you want to make sure you're not late and receive exclusive content before the big day, it's best to sign up at samsung.com/unpacked. There Samsung usually shares teasers, previews and special benefits for those who sign up in advance, so it's worth reserving your spot as soon as possible. This registration is also usually the gateway to promotions and raffles that the brand activates in the weeks prior to the event.
What products could be presented this July 22
Although Samsung still has several cards up its sleeve, leaks and industry reports already paint a fairly clear picture of what we will see. The absolute protagonist will be, once again, the new generation of foldables, and this time it could come with an extra surprise: instead of the usual two models, it is rumored that Samsung would present up to three foldables, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8, an Ultra version of the Fold and the expected Galaxy Z Flip 8.
The most recent teasers show a shorter and noticeably wider device, which fuels the theory that that “wide” foldable that has been talked about for so long would finally arrive. Among the circulating specifications, a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X internal screen, a 5.5-inch external screen and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip are mentioned. The Ultra variant, for its part, would point to a 5,000 mAh battery, 45W fast charging and a maximum brightness of up to 3,600 nits.
But the phones wouldn't be the only thing on stage. The arrival of the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is also expected, the latter with rumors of a screen capable of reaching 5,000 nits of brightness, 800 mAh battery and IP69K certification for greater resistance. And as if that were not enough, there is speculation about a first look at Samsung's much-discussed smart glasses, developed in collaboration with fashion brands such as Warby Parker and Gentle Monster, and which would be part of the Android XR ecosystem alongside the Galaxy XR.
Discounts you can't miss
Here comes the part that any technology fan likes the most. As is usually the case with each Unpacked, Samsung usually launches special promotions a few days before the event, allowing those who register in advance to access significant discounts and exclusive benefits when reserving or purchasing the new devices.
These offers usually include early bird credits, bonuses for turning in your current equipment, and direct discounts on the final price, so if you're planning on getting one of these new foldables or watches, registering early can save you a good amount of money.
With the countdown already underway, everything indicates that this Galaxy Unpacked in July will be one of the most talked about events of the year, both due to the new foldables and the possible debut of the brand's smart glasses.
