The family of the farmworker who died from injuries he suffered when he fell from a structure during The July 10 immigration raid in Ventura County has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles court.
Attorneys for the family of deceased worker Jaime Alanis Garcia said the complaint was filed to demand answers and accountability from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
According to the attorneys, federal ICE agents conducted an illegal search and seizure and used excessive force.
