Fear at Los Angeles food truck due to possible ICE operation
Employees left plates of hot food, drinks, and money at the cash register due to the threat of an ICE raid in the Eagle Rock neighborhood
Workers at a food truck briefly ran away from their workplace, despite the hot plates, drinks, and money in the cash register, due to the warning of the presence of federal immigration agents, on Saturday afternoon in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles.
One of the taco shop employees said he and his coworkers rushed to flee the scene after spotting a suspicious vehicle and receiving a tip about immigration agents in the area.
The employees were happy to leave the hot food, drinks, and cash in the cash register behind, so they wouldn't be caught by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and end up arrested.
