Two Hispanic women hide in a refrigerator so that ICE doesn't arrest them
A surveillance camera captured the moment when the two Hispanic workers hide in an industrial refrigerator to avoid being found
In the midst of desperation due to a surprise ICE raid, two Hispanic workers hid inside an industrial refrigerator in the hope that the agents wouldn't be able to find them. It happened in the Flower District of Los Angeles.
A security camera captured both women breaking into the refrigerator, taking advantage of the chaos that erupted outside the store as officers arrived.
According to a Telemundo News report, a crowd began throwing objects at the vehicle transporting the officers. They threw eggs, trash, and even traffic cones, but the officers responded with tear gas.
The situation led to several arrests, and some stores closed their doors for hours to avoid being involved in the raid. Meanwhile, the two Hispanic women remained in the refrigerator until the chaotic scene ended.
Hispanic Worker Climbs onto Platform to Avoid Arrest
A similar incident occurred in Laredo, Texas, where a Hispanic worker decided to climb onto an elevated platform to avoid arrest by ICE members.
The operation by federal agents took place at a warehouse under construction, where more than 20 undocumented immigrants were detained. Presumably, it was a routine inspection, but it ended in multiple arrests.
The uniformed officers remained at the scene until they managed to convince the worker to get off the platform. Finally, the man was arrested.
