Civil activists in Los Angeles presented a petition to the United Nations (UN) to investigate alleged human rights violations by agents of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE).
Defenders Immigrant rights activists have reported the alleged violations since June 6, when federal agencies intensified operations with raids to arrest immigrants.
"There have already been deaths while this is happening," said labor and human rights activist Dolores Huerta.
